Nissan Sunny rates a best buy??

Postby azi malik on Wed Jun 30, 2010 8:22 pm

I am curious from a few days.... i looked at the prices on which the New Nissan Sunny is coming and i was amazed....

I was not convinced though so i took a ride and visited the showroom of Nissan Gandahara Motors in Rwp near Sawan.... and the surprising thing was the what i heard was the truth.... THEY ARE ACTUALLY SELLING NEW SUNNY AT UNBELIEVABLE LOW PRICES.

NISSAN SUNNY 1.3L EXECUTIVE SALOON M/T GASOLINE
1,170,000/-

NISSAN SUNNY 1.6L EXECUTIVE SALOON M/T GASOLINE
1,225,000/-

NISSAN SUNNY 1.6L SUPER SALOON M/T GASOLINE
1,370,000/-

NISSAN SUNNY 1.6L SUPER SALOON A/T GASOLINE
1,470,000/-

* CNG optional for additional Rs. 80,000

These are the factory prices got from Ghandhara Nissan Pakistan (http://www.ghandharanissan.com.pk/sunny_prices.htm)

They also told me that the delivery of the car will be in 10 days.... and the car is full Japanese, only the battery is Pakistani.

What are your views?????????

The prices are remarkable! Bravo Nissan, hopefully this will get Toyota and Honda to rationalize their prices. I've been considering buying a Toyota Belta, but for the same price I can pick-up a japanese car with a 3 year warrenty ...

Nissan Pakistan doesn't have a web site !! Maybe they're going bust ... wait for their Mitsubshi pakistan type sale (buy 1 get 1 free) ;)

hahaha no... they have one... it is only that dis direct link is not working...

Go to http://www.ghandharanissan.com.pk/
and then select nissan.pk.... this is a new site... i think they are investing money and doing something for the sales...

Plus i am noticing a lot many sunnys now... i mean if u compare it with last year... its like a difference of 1 to 10 to be seen in 1 day...

Honda is better in terms of????
this car is a total Japanese thing... only the battery is Pakistani... now ur getting a 1.3 for 11 something and 1.6 dohc for max 14 lacs.... that is really cheap...
Plus about the parts... well when ur owning a Japanese car, then you dunt want to worry about the parts.. as it will bother u after 5 or 10 years of owning....

if u want a car to be kept for a long time (5-10 years) then this is the best buy... if ur selling it after a year or 2, then go for other options.

I like the comparison with donkeys and horses, I agree with the shape issue but at the end of the day, I'd rather not pay Rs. 1.8 million for a car that'll keep me at the mercy of a bunch of xxxx-wipes who nothing about service, and even less about car maintenance.

Perhaps the second best option is the Honda City, but again, I'd rather not deal with the grease monkeys at Honda.

i believe this car showed by owned by owners... wat does dat mean?? for shoffers.... for ppl who use drivers... as long as u are 40+ aged... and u have a driver... ur siting at the back... this car is acceptable... otherwise when u are driving it urself... then its a big bug on the road thats all... it should be used by government officials... ;)
